Why would they do that? It’s a question California Republican State Senator Shannon Grove is asking her Democrat colleagues on the Public Safety Committee. She sponsored a bill to add penalties for soliciting sex from a minor. It added up to four years prison time, up to a twenty five thousand dollar fine, and those convicted to register as sex offenders. Her Democrat colleagues introduced amendments to water down the penalties. Senator Grove asked the chairman if he was forcing these amendments on her and he replied, “Yes.” There were audible gasps from trafficking survivors in the audience. Abortion is the grease that keeps sex trafficking in motion. Back to the Senator’s question. “Why not put people in prison for buying children?” They’re protecting their own.
