Here’s another way the pro-life movement is helping women far beyond their pregnancies and births. The House of Ruth Pregnancy Care Center is offering significant assistance to help women choose life and change their lives for the better. Housing is a big hurdle so they bought a five-bedroom, four-bath home called The Carpenter’s House. Named after the fact Jesus, a former carpenter, “is constantly building and rebuilding the broken.” A case management person was hired to walk women through the challenges and changes needed to take place for the mothers to benefit long-term. The Carpenter’s House accommodates single women with or without children. They report God’s using it to grow the faith of both those who provide the help and those who receive it.
