After the Florida Supreme Court upheld the Heartbeat law, the Tampa Bay Abortion Fund is moaning about the lack of rage from Floridians. Actually, most support this common sense, compassionate legislation. But here’s the real rub. This organization and those like it in other states pay the costs for women to have abortions. They’re really lamenting that the lack of “rage” hasn’t resulted in serious fundraising like it did after the Dobbs decision when they raised three times their annual budget. This time not so much. Some are going to have to cut back due to less “rage” donations coming in. This shows American support limitations. While at the root of the issue for these groups, abortion is less about helping women and more about the money it generates.
