Law Protects Young Girl

The unexpected happened at a Planned Parenthood abortion center in North Carolina.  A staffer called nine-one-one to report a sixteen-year-old girl told them she was being forced to have an unwanted abortion.  The staffer said, “Unfortunately, my provider [in other words the abortionist] will not do the procedure if she’s being forced.”  Last year a bill passed that allows a woman to sue an abortionist who knowingly carries out an abortion against the will of the woman.  This was likely the motivating factor for not doing the abortion, but clearly the Planned Parenthood staffer wasn’t happy about it because money was walking out the door.  Planned Parenthood’s been caught multiple times covering up coerced or forced abortions.  This time the young girl was protected.
