You’ve heard me talk about the horrifying euthanasia program in Canada. It’s gotten worse. A judge ruled a twenty-eight-year-old woman can be euthanized simply because she has autism. The young woman who lives with her parents is otherwise in good health. The judge acknowledged the “profound grief” her father would feel, but in the end that doesn’t matter. The woman’s autonomy is more important than her life. This demonstrates a chilling expansion of the parameters of people now being killed by euthanasia in Canada. Very soon there’ll be absolutely no parameters. It should be a disturbing reminder to all Americans that opening this Pandora’s box is nearly impossible to close again when it’s out of control and they’re killing without regard.
