The liberal media and pro-abortion activists lost their minds when the Arizona Supreme Court ruled a one hundred sixty-year-old law prohibiting abortion was still valid. Originally it was the result of President Lincoln requesting a lawyer write a legal code for the new state of Arizona. Tucked inside was the protection for the state’s unborn babies and their mothers. A similar version of the code was later codified into Arizona’s Criminal Code. This is a great example of the judicial branch not legislating from the bench. They admirably interpreted what the law said instead of writing their own like the US Supreme Court did with Roe in nineteen-seventy-three. There are bound to be challenges to this ruling. So, please pray that God’s will prevails.
