Earlier I told you about ten pro-life State Senators in Oregon who put their political careers on the line to stop two radical pro-abortion laws. One would’ve given sex traffickers permission to abort ten-year-old girls without the parents’ knowledge. A recently passed state constitutional amendment denies lawmakers from running for reelection if they have ten or more unexcused absences. The senators boycotted the legislation, thus denying a quorum to pass the radical pro-abortion bills. The Oregon Supreme Court upheld the amendment, denying the right of the pro-life senators to run for reelection. Please pray for these brave civil servants who put the protection of their constituents ahead of their own political careers. We need more people like them.
