It’s been a cold and snowy winter with sub-zero temperatures and copious amounts of snow. In Shenandoah, Iowa it provided an extra challenge for Dr. Chase Brown to get to the hospital in time to deliver a baby. The only way in was his four wheel drive ATV. In order to get there he hit snowbanks at twenty miles per hour with snow flying everywhere. His determination paid off, getting there just in time to deliver little Birkley. This wasn’t the first time Dr. Brown relied on his ATV to deliver a baby. So far the winter conditions have required him to make the unusual trip into the hospital three times. Dr. Brown said it was a dream come true. He’s always imagined living in a small town and providing personal service for his patients.
