Most of us are acquainted with the problem of homelessness. But have you given much thought about homeless pregnant women? Where do they go for protection from the elements? How do they find and receive medical care? Where can they go to live safely? Cradle of Hope, a pro-life pregnancy center in Iowa, began to encounter women who were “couch surfing” that is sleeping on couches, going from friend to friend. Other women were living in their cars. The center researched for and found a place where homeless women can go for help during pregnancy and beyond, and it’s open to women from every state. The Lord will say to these people, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
