Happy Anniversary Justice Thomas

October marks the thirty-second year of noble service by Clarence Thomas as a Justice on the US Supreme Court.  During that time, he has served with distinction while also being the most maligned and persecuted member of the Court in modern history.  He is consistently on solid constitutional footing and his critics hate him for it.  He’s been called “Uncle Tom” by hack politicians for not towing the politically liberal line as a black justice.  Instead of responding to the vile criticism against him, Justice Thomas focuses on the job he was placed there to do – interpret the constitution, not legislate from the bench.  And he’s done that incredibly well.  History will judge Justice Clarence Thomas as one of our nation’s finest members of the nation’s highest Court.
