Very little good comes out of New York related to abortion. But then there’s this. Pro-abortion governor Kathy Hochul signed a bipartisan bill designed to provide help and support in the wake of pregnancy loss including stillbirths, miscarriages, and abortion for “medical reasons.” They don’t want to go as far as saying all women who have abortions are at risk of emotional trauma. The information will be available on the government website and healthcare providers will be able to make their own printed or digital versions for patients. It’s a small but important step toward recognizing the emotional devastation inflicted by abortion. A sign that abortion’s ramifications are so profound, even one of the most pro-abortion states can’t ignore them. This is a win for New York women.
