Nick Vujicic is well known among evangelicals and pro-life circles. Born without arms or legs, his joy and enthusiasm are contagious and he’s circled the globe telling people about Jesus. Nick and co-founder, Betsy Gray, have embarked on an effort to establish ProLifeBank. It happened after his bank without notice froze his credit and debit cards and sent a letter that they don’t want this outspoken pro-life advocate as a customer. Nick isn’t the first victim of banking discrimination. Others have reported getting the financial boot after their foundations gave to conservative causes conflicting with the bank’s powers that be. Finding investors has been their biggest challenge, but the Dallas-based bank plans to open next spring and serve the international community.
