Euthanizing Children

It’s a disturbing situation of history repeating. The horrific memories of the holocaust should still be present in the minds of Europeans, yet they’re advancing the cause of euthanasia in ways eerily similar to the path followed by Hitler. The Netherlands announced they’ll soon begin to euthanize children under the age of twelve to, “end the child’s hopeless and unbearable suffering.” Their definition of hopeless and unbearable should send chills up the spines of Holland’s citizens. The new protocol also allows euthanasia for newborns who may experience “possible future suffering.” Each case of euthanizing children will only be reviewed after the child’s death. Here’s another appalling reality. Hundreds of citizens were euthanized because they suffered from dementia.
