Semantics is something we use every day in our battle to protect unborn babies and their parents from the violence of abortion. It’s the art of using words to touch hearts and minds and turn them toward life. The other side uses semantics to put a positive spin on something that’s inherently ugly – in this case abortion. It’s hard to sell the intentional killing of innocent babies to Americans, so they couch the dirty deed in words sounding modern, kind, and supportive. An Australian website, seemingly a blend of cultism, womanhood, and abortion advocacy came up with a new way to describe abortion – “conscious pregnancy release.” Sounds rather organic and positive doesn’t it? But conscious pregnancy release are just words for killing babies. Always be mindful of the difference.
