Pro Bikers for Life

Patty, a counselor at a pro-life pregnancy center was alone in the building when a man well over six feet, wearing all black, including a leather jacket came through the door.  He got Patty’s attention.  Tom Upshur is the founder of Pro Biker for Life. They pray and engage couples going into Planned Parenthood a few doors down. They ran out of brochures, so Tom came in to get more. Most of these hulking men work fulltime but also hold baby showers – yes, baby showers –  deliver cribs and speak at churches, schools, and pregnancy centers, among other things. Their gentle and friendly demeanor effectively intercepts abortion-bound couples. They’re a hit especially with the men. Tom said, “We are a small but mighty group of God’s warriors against the darkness of abortion.”
