Good Trend in Teen Sexual Activity

Bradley Mattes   |   March 03, 2023

The Centers for Disease Control conducts a Youth Risk Behavior Survey.  The stats for 2021 show good news: a long-term decline in sexual activity among teens.  Between 2019 and 2021, the percentage of high school students who reported “ever having sex” dropped by eight points.  Some say the pandemic had a lot to do with it, which may be true, but the CDC said there’s been a long-term decline of 17 percentage points since 2010.  Parents, keep talking about God’s plan for abstinence until marriage.  Research shows you have a great deal of influence with your children. I’ve seen many devastated lives because of poor life choices of premarital sex and abortion.  Combine your talks with prayer.
