Pro-life pregnancy centers across the country enjoyed a significant victory. Yelp, the online company connecting businesses with costumers, is backing off their bigotry against the centers. But only after a whopping 24 state attorneys general accused them of discrimination. Yelp labeled all pro-life centers with a caution that they “provide limited medical services and may not have licensed medical professionals onsite.” It’s been replaced with a message saying they don’t provide abortions. Yelp’s unilateral attacks have continued while leaving Planned Parenthood untouched. Yelp’s legal counsel defended their action, but the company admitted to the change. These pro-life centers often provide pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and STD testing by licensed medical professionals.
