In the early seventies, Dr. Jack Willke and his wife Barbara – considered the parents of the pro-life movement – published a book called Handbook on Abortion, a question-and-answer format of documented information. They also produced slides and brochures with images of fetal development and the bodies of abortion’s tiny victims. Recently Lila Rose, one of the top leaders in the pro-life movement, shared that she got her start in the movement because of this book. I can say the same, as can countless pro-life advocates. I had the privilege of working side-by-side with Jack and Barbara for decades until their deaths. Life Issues Institute continues the legacy started by this couple because pro-life education is the foundation on which you build political and legislative victories.
