Christmas never fails to deliver HOPE. This week during our special focus on hope, I want to tell you about Evalyn who was born to a crack-addicted, alcoholic mom. She never knew her dad. Her life was a string of tragedies. Pregnant at fifteen, two abortions, one suicide attempt, and employment as a high-end woman of the evening. Pregnant again, she sought help from a pro-life pregnancy center. Evalyn said, “When I chose life for my baby, I was choosing life for myself too!” After she surrendered her life to Christ the change was dramatic. She finished college and married. First Peter 1:3 is her passage of hope. “In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
