Calling Out Evil

As more evil presents itself in these end times, it’s vitally important America’s clergy of all faiths speak out.  By remaining silent, congregations may believe the lies and fearmongering being said.  Here’s an powerful example of a religious leader boldly standing for truth.  Hillary Clinton recently compared pro-life laws in America with the evil acts of sexual assault against women in Afghanistan, Iran, and Ukraine during wartime.  Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas warned his congregation about Mrs. Clinton.  He tweeted, “Please, please don’t listen to this evil woman.  Her lies and immorality need to be silenced for the good of humanity.”   Not all clergy will make such strong statements, but they must boldly confront evil when it presents itself in all forms for the sake of their flocks.
