Ann and Al Hill sat on their front porch of their Cincinnati home, reminiscing about their lives together. Married for 53 years, with two daughters. Sounds pretty average doesn’t it, but this couple has impacted more lives than the average person can hope to reach. Over a span of decades, Ann and Al have fostered 100 mostly teenage girls. The couple, in their late seventies was still fostering until last year. Yet they don’t believe they’ve done anything special. Al’s response was, “There are so many people with nowhere to go.” Most communities are desperate to find foster care homes, so if you feel led, please contact your local foster care agency. As for the Hills, Ann’s slippers are embroidered with “Off duty.” Well done good and faithful servants.
