Bumper Crop of Pro-Life Bills

Really good news has come from the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute, originally founded as the research arm of Planned Parenthood.  They reported that in just the first two months of this year, nearly 400 pro-life bills have been introduced in state legislatures across the country!  For example, South Carolina passed a heartbeat bill ending abortion once the baby’s heartbeat can be detected.  They join ten other states that already passed it.  Also, there’s a focus on protecting women from chemical abortion pills that hits at the very heart of the abortion industry.  It’s easy to become discouraged after the last election, but we can and should praise God for all the victories we’re seeing in the states.  These laws are effective in saving babies and protecting mothers.
