Imagine being born into a world where you’re the only perfect, sinless person. Imagine getting taunted by boyhood Nazareth buddies for being a goody-two-shoes, always doing the right thing. Imagine having to put up with all of us earthly sinners around you. This was undoubtedly part of Jesus’ cross to bear. He had to deal with sinful, stiff-necked people from the very beginning. Remember Herod? In spite of all the challenges—great and small—during his life on earth, he never lost sight of his mission for humanity. He came to bring us eternal life and show us the Father who loves us more than we can comprehend. That’s why we celebrate Christmas, the gift of LIFE, the gift of LOVE. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas!
