President Trump reinstated and expanded the Mexico City Policy which prevents entities around the world from using our tax dollars to provide or promote abortion. It protects nearly 9 billion tax dollars from being used by the global abortion industry. Of the over 1300 awardees, only 8 declined to get out of the abortion industry to maintain funding. Abortion advocates said the rule would put critical care providers in chaos, but that didn’t materialize at all. The federal government said the impact of those opting out did not disrupt health care with delays or lack of medical services. Most all global partners are providing legitimate humanitarian health care without the element of killing unborn babies. Another pro-life victory!
