A spokesperson for the Chinese biotech firm BGI Genomics was recently caught on video revealing the true nature of their work. She said their non-invasive blood test to determine whether or not an unborn baby has Down syndrome has been used on millions of women. She then revealed the two reasons behind the test. They can, in her words, “screen out” babies with disabilities. Then, she actually said the eugenic testing was the company’s “cash cow” that underwrites the growth and development of other areas of the business. It accounts for over half of BGI’s revenues! What some people call “defects” are in other opinions just “differences.” China’s long record on human rights is deplorable. Now, they’re financially benefiting from discrimination.
