They say necessity is the mother of invention, and we’re seeing it unfold at unprecedented levels with the marshalling of medical resources and the advancement of biomedical technology. A biotech company from Cleveland announced the development of a treatment for coronavirus patients called MultiStem. It’s an adult stem cell treatment, not embryo cells, that shows promise for treating acute respiratory distress syndrome, referred to as ARDS. This is the primary cause of death among Coronavirus patients, and the FDA has granted them Fast Track designation. They’re preparing a large clinical trial to test its effectiveness. Currently, there are over 23 adult stem cell trials going on. Please be in prayer for their success.
