Two Leaplings

This sin-sick world is full of negative news and developments, so I thought you’d like to hear this heartwarming story.  As you know, we recently experienced Leap Year, so February had twenty-nine days.  Ivan Cortez is one of those unique individuals who was born on Leap Year.  Ivan and others like him are referred to as “Leaplings.”  What makes this interesting is he and his wife Jennifer gave birth to a daughter, Camila, who – you may have guessed it – was also born on Leap Year.  The chance of two Leaplings in a family is one in two million!  Nurses at the hospital dressed Camila up in a green leap-frog costume to mark the special occasion.  It’s heartwarming to know God’s had a plan for this little Leapling since before the beginning of time.
