I hope this becomes a trend in pro-life pregnancy centers. Immokalee is a small farming community in Florida. The Immokalee Pregnancy Center serves many migrant workers, Hispanics, Haitians and Native Americans. The center welcomed high school students who began volunteering after school. One student, Jazmin, founded a new club at school called Baby Steps, and she brought five other students with her for a tour of the center, asking “How can we help you?” The kids jumped in to assist wherever they’re needed – even holding a fundraiser to buy supplies for the center. Wouldn’t it be nice to see centers across the nation experience the same offer of help by local students? Just goes to show we all have gifts that can help the cause for LIFE.
