Each January, there’s a Walk for Life in San Francisco, marking the anniversary of Roe v Wade legalizing abortion on demand. Nearly ten years ago, Michael heard about the walk and has walked every year since; carrying a homemade sign in memory of his three aborted children. As he told other guys about the walk, they joined him until it grew to 70 men this year. What’s so special is it occurs in a prison yard in the California Prison System where Michael’s serving a life sentence. He organized enough men to walk in four of the yards at Valley State Prison. These men walk in solidarity every year with those who walk on Market Street. God’s grace abounds, and the healing from abortion goes everywhere. Even into prisons.
