Unborn Babies Called Legitimate Parasite

This isn’t a twisted joke.  It actually happened.  A professor at the University of California San Diego school of medicine, taught an advanced biology class called Biology of Disease.  In his slide presentation he compared an unborn baby to cancer, calling the child a “legitimate parasite.”  A photo of his slide was posted on Twitter, which generated several comments, including from medical doctors tweeting he got the basic science wrong, listing the reasons a first-year medical student should know.  One tweet quoted Hitler’s book Mein Kampf when he called Jews a “parasite upon the nations.”  The professor, whose identity was not shared, should be fired, an apology to students and parents issued, and then hire someone who holds a respect for human life.
