Trust Him

Two siblings, ages three and four, were found bound and chained in what was this Texas County’s worst case of child abuse. Some may have been tempted to ask, “Where was God in this horrific situation?” He was there just like He always is, and He had everything under control. God directed these two children and the baby born to the mother while in jail to LaKenya and Allen Shaw who desperately wanted children. LaKenya was at a retreat when she felt God was telling her she’d be carrying a baby on her hip next year. That night they received the call about the children. Even when a situation looks unredeemable. Even when, by human standards, abortion seems like a better option, God has a perfect plan. Trust Him.
