Ireland was admired around the world for its laws protecting unborn babies and their mothers from abortion. In less than a year, Ireland has legalized abortion throughout six months for a wide variety of circumstances. Tax payers are now forced to pay for the abortions and all maternity hospitals, including religious ones, are required to provide abortions. Doctors and nurses fear being forced to participate in the killing because conscience protections are extremely limited. Equipment, supplies, clinical guidelines and trained staff are lacking, so medical professionals on both sides of the issue fear the premature starting date may put women’s lives at risk. But pro-abortion politicians are barreling forward, showing they don’t care about women, only about legalizing abortion.
