Vanellope Wilkins finally went home from the hospital nine months after her birth. She was born with her heart beating outside her chest and had no breastbone to support her rib cage. The first of many surgeries took place when she was just one hour old. Doctors identified the problem only nine weeks into Naomi’s pregnancy and gave the baby less than a 10 percent chance of living. But if her parents had followed the doctors’ advice and aborted Vanellope, there’d be no celebration now. God has given this baby life and sustained her through incredibly difficult times. Now let’s see what He has planned for her.
