At one time Rachael Larimore was a senior editor at Slate, a pro-abortion online publication. But she’s now the online managing editor of the pro-life Weekly Standard. What happened? My friend Dave Andrusko rightly speculated her transformation may be due to Rachel being born to teenage parents the year before Roe legalized abortion. That undeniable fact forced her to ask, “What if I hadn’t been born?” the title of one of her columns. Rachel wrote that her life hasn’t been “especially important or special” but it’s been a “good life to me.” Over 60 million unborn babies have been denied their right to life, so I welcome her conversion. She’s yet another example of reality changing hearts and minds on abortion.
