Daniel Ritchie

Daniel Ritchie is sometimes looked upon with disgust and is the target of cruel words such as “weirdo, gross and freak.”  What was Daniel’s terrible offense?  He was eating in a restaurant with his feet because he was born without arms.  Few babies like him survive abortion.  Daniel graduated from college; married; has two children and is active in ministry.  But it wasn’t always a positive time for him.  During his teenage years he recalled that those cruel words began to warp his perception of the value of his life.  Then he read Psalm 139. “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”  Daniel realized “I was no longer who people said I was.  I was who God said I was.”  God has a plan for Daniel and every other child conceived.
