State Senate Condemns US Senator

It was a stunning and unprecedented move.  The Alabama State Senate condemned their new US Senator Doug Jones for his vote against protecting unborn babies from late-term abortion.  During his campaign for the special Senate election, Jones said he was against late-term abortion, even though he is a Democrat.  But then, shortly after assuming the office of senator, Jones voted against the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, stopping abortion after five months because the baby feels the horrible pain of the abortion.  Many believe his opposition to late-term abortion as a candidate enabled him to squeak out the win in the pro-life state of Alabama.  After Jones’ betrayal of the babies, the State Senate passed a resolution condemning his hypocrisy, and I say well done!
