Shame is a Powerful Tool

Kristen Pyszczyk is a feminist who opposes anyone “telling a woman what to do with her body” and feels having a child “is a very personal choice.”  Even so, she criticized HGTV stars, Chip and Joanna Gaines, for having a fifth child, because Kristen believes our survival depends upon fewer children, and that we’ll have to evacuate the earth in a hundred years due to environmental ruin.  Normally feminists oppose shaming anyone, but Kristen makes an exception saying, “shame is a powerful tool for changing behavior,” calling a fifth baby “irresponsible.”  Even though the US is below replacement level and China’s desperately concerned about its shrinking population.  We can’t afford to ignore this ignorant dictatorial thinking.  We must stand for the truth.
