Las Vegas Tragedy

I felt physically ill after reading the Las Vegas headlines.  It’s impossible to fathom such disregard for innocent human life.  As a pro-lifer I understand the intense pain and grief that comes with death.  I shared with my staff God wasn’t responsible for this violence.  It was that the heart of the killer was void of the love of Jesus.  Together in our chapel we leaned on Scripture.  In John 14:27, Jesus tells His disciples and us, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”  So cling to this peace from Jesus.  Please also pray for those wounded and the families and friends of the slain.  And please also pray for the medical staff taking care of them.
