Miracles happen all the time. Just ask Shona Jeffery who was twenty-two weeks pregnant with twins when her water broke. Doctors said they wouldn’t even try to save the babies if born that day because they were too young. But God kept Dolly and Albert inside the womb for a couple more days—just long enough to give the doctors hope. The babies were born last November, both weighing a little more than a pound. Both required surgery, but tackled each battle as it came. Albert went home in in March and Dolly joined him and their parents in June. Another pair of twins was born at twenty-three weeks in Scotland. Doctors told the mom just two years earlier they wouldn’t have been able to save them but could now with advancements in technology. Praise God.
