A Beautiful Life After Rape

Minka Disbrow was raped before she even understood the possible ramifications. When she became pregnant, her mother helped place the baby for adoption. Minka named her Betty Jean, kept her picture and always wondered about her.  When Minka was ninety-four, she met her daughter, renamed Lee, for the first time.  Lee had six children and one of her grandsons became an astronaut who’s experienced four space missions.  Keep in mind many well-meaning people support abortion in the case of rape.  Minka lived to a-hundred-and-two before dying in June.  Her granddaughter published a book about her life a month before her death.  At the time of Mika’s brutal assault, who would’ve imagined God’s magnificent plan.  That’s why we must always follow His will for our lives.
