Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn

Charlie Daniels is a country music Hall of Famer with a long and lustrous career.  He’s also well known for speaking out on issues important to him.  Major American cities have been in the news lately because their politicians have declared them “sanctuary cities.”  This means city leaders are defying federal laws by shielding illegal immigrants from deportation.  Mr. Daniels came up with an interesting idea — and in his opinion — a better use of sanctuary cities.  He suggested these urban areas become sanctuaries for unborn babies by offering them life-saving protection from the abortion industry.  Cities would be declared abortion-free zones so babies and their mothers would be protected from the violence of abortion.  Whether or not you’re a fan of country music, you gotta love Charlie Daniels.
