A family that opens its heart and door to foster children is precious. Mohamed Bzeek is taking fostering to new heights. He parents terminally ill children. Over the years he’s buried ten of them, several who’ve died in his arms. The key, he says “is to love them like your own.” Bzeek also says, ” I know they are sick. I know they are going to die. I do my best as a human being and leave the rest to God.” Bzeek’s current foster child is six years old, deaf, blind and with paralyzed extremities. This child, rejected by her own parents, is the center of his world. His days are spent providing loving care and attending doctor appointments. Imagine if in America, our society and laws reflected the respect for life that this man has.
