Three Parent Baby

A short time ago the idea of having a baby with DNA from three separate parents was only the stuff of science fiction.  Sadly, that day has arrived.  A woman gave birth to a baby boy in Ukraine who has three parents.  The woman suffered from infertility and traditional IVF failed.  So they took one of her eggs, sperm from the father and put them into a host egg to facilitate what her own egg was unable to do.  The resultant baby literally has three parents who’ve contributed DNA to his conception.  Early indications are the baby is healthy, but it’s anything but the way God intended, so we won’t know the full outcome for a while.  Another three-parent baby is due to be born in March.  Man has grown accustomed to usurping God’s plan for life.
