I love Father’s Day—and not just for our family tradition of thick, grilled pork chops wrapped in bacon. I now enjoy the blessings of being a father to four grown sons. And because of recent health issues, I depend upon them for assistance from time to time, which they lovingly give. It’s really an example of the circle of life. My wife and I said yes to life when they were in the womb. We nurtured and protected them, helping them through life. Now, when we need a little assistance, they’re at our side to nurture us. They learned by example throughout their lives that innocent human life is precious and must be protected, born or unborn. Yes, my Father’s Day has taken on a new dimension, and the bacon-wrapped pork chops are an added blessing.
