New York State is considered the abortion capital of the nation. But new data released by the New York State Vital Statistics shows a pretty dramatic decline in the number of abortions being done there. Twenty-fourteen is the latest year this information is available and it shows a decline of twenty-one percent during a seven year period. This is big! And in New York City—ground zero for abortion—it showed a decrease of slightly higher. The area of the state that saw the highest drop of over forty-percent was upstate in Rochester, primarily in the Black community. The efforts Life Issues Institute and others are doing to reach the Black community with the truth about abortion are working. Please pray for the ongoing efforts of pro-lifers in this area of the country.
