Teeny, tiny E’layah Faith is one of the smallest premature babies to be born and live. Her mother, Megan Smith, had pre-eclampsia, that’s when the mother’s blood pressure gets dangerously high and the only way to save mother and baby is an emergency cesarean. In this case E’layah was three months premature, weighed only ten ounces and was only ten inches long. But thankfully for this family, the doctors and nurses worked hard to save this baby’s life. I’m thrilled to report she now weighs over five pounds and went home after five months in the hospital. Doctors say she’s doing well and should have a normal, healthy life. E’layah’s also a living testimony against the many legal abortions done at her age of birth. Join me in prayers of thanksgiving.
