The great state of Kansas recently made pro-life history. Its pro-life governor, Sam Brownback, signed into law the Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Act. The legislation goes into effect July first and prohibits abortionists from using an abortion technique they call Dilation and Evacuation. The key thing to realize is that the word “dismemberment” aptly describes the deadly procedure. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy described the process in a previous Court decision that’s so graphic, I can’t share it here. It’s likely there will be enough votes on the Supreme Court to declare it constitutional. And that terrifies the abortion industry and pro-abortion activists. God bless the boldness of Kansas, and I pray other states will protect their babies this way.
