I’ve long said pro-lifers are the cream of the crop of humanity. They generously give of themselves and often of their meager personal resources. Some work in local right to life chapters or state-wide organizations. Others volunteer in women help centers. Some devote many hours to sidewalk counseling outside abortion mills, while others peacefully protest with signs and rallies. There’s also a network of women and men who counsel grieving mothers and fathers after a decision to abort. Grassroots pro-life activists have progressed from kitchen tables to the professional and effective movement you see today. They’re motivated by love to protect babies they’ll likely never meet or know. As you celebrate Valentine’s Day tomorrow, please pray for this movement of life, this movement of love.
