Being Pro-Life Helps Candidates

Bradley Mattes   |   November 18, 2014

For several years polling has show that pro-life candidates get more votes than pro-abortion candidates.  Well the recent mid-term election was no different.  But you wouldn’t know it from the media, which is no surprise.  By now most of us know the media is vastly pro-abortion in their reporting.  Polling showed close to forty percent of voters say a candidate’s position on abortion influences their vote.  Further, candidates who stand up for innocent human life and against abortion receive a net gain of seven percentage points over those who think it’s okay to kill preborn children.  Frankly I think it should be much more than seven percent, but the reality is, candidates shouldn’t run from the abortion issue.  They should know how to effectively respond and take a bold stand for life.
