Parents in Hawaii started complaining about a Planned Parenthood sex education program being tested in their communities and funded with nearly a million tax dollars. It wasn’t only many parents who were very disturbed, it was teachers as well. As a result, State Representative Bob McDermott and State Senator Sam Slom both requested a copy of the program. In both cases they were denied. Rep. McDermott was told he could look at the program materials if he was supervised, but couldn’t have a copy. Imagine the arrogance of these tax-funded bureaucrats! The reason they won’t let members of the state legislature have access, is they know the content is so obscene, opposition will grow and they’ll have to cancel the program. Parents, this is happening in other communities as well.
